Another refurbishment of one of Edinburgh’s premier bar restaurants, Montpeliers is one of our most iconic projects.
Located in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, Montpeliers has been a mainstay of the local community for nearly 30 years. Our refurbishment, represented the first real change in the hostelry’s life. Once again, tasked with a project programme of 2 weeks, our project scope involved a full strip out of the existing interior and bar frontage, manufacture and installation of a new shop front, and a repositioning of the bar to create a completely different interior space for our Client that represented a 50% increase in the number of covers.
Project Challenges
Francey Limited were responsible once again for all bespoke joinery on the project, including a full bar, rear gantry fixed seating and all loose tables. We were also responsible for the supply and install of all new floor finishes and interior decorations, as well as all electrical work.
The result is a warm and inviting bar and restaurant, rich in texture and detail, that is a vibrant, convivial space
