The Boy Wizard gift shop in Edinburgh Airport showcases our skills in a complex retail environment to realise a fully fitted and operational asset within a strict timeframe.
Located on the airside of Edinburgh Airport, the retail fit out of the Boy Wizard store involved taking a Cat A shell and core unit to fully fitted retail space inside 3 weeks, all whilst operating within the complex security environment of a fully functioning airport. This project showcased our logistical planning, with all personnel, materials and tools having to be processed through the Airport’s complex security protocols and procedures.
Acting as Main Contractor for the Project, Francey Limited supplied all joinery, decorations, mechanical and electrical subcontractors as well as procurement of all fixtures and furniture. Many of the joinery elements are unique to this store’s concept and had to be manufactured from scratch in our workshop. The result is a store rich in experiential detail and finish.
The project has led to many repeat projects within the complex Airport environment. Our experience in dealing with the very particular requirements of the Airport authorities becoming invaluable to our Clients.
